The Agency College Recruit (TACR)

The Agency College Recruit (TARC) is a series of elite junior golf events held across the Asia-Pacific that offer American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Performance Based Eligibility (PBE) Status, AJGA playing opportunities, college golf development education, and college coach exposure to the next generation of prominent junior golfers.

About the Tour

The Junior Golf Tour of Asia is the sanctioning body for American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Performance Based Entry (PBE) Status in Asia, and comprises of a series of events across the region for junior golfers dedicated to the pursuit of an AJGA, University and professional golf career.

It is the first and only junior tour outside North America with this capability.

This official designation of the TARC reflects TARC’s commitment in upholding the mission, values, standards and principles of the AJGA, in addition to following the rules and policies of the AJGA and its PBE system.

The TARC serves to grow the game of junior golf at the highest level in Asia, and harness the proven path to greatness that the AJGA has provided the world’s top professional and college golfers.

Tour Membership

The TARC organizes, conducts and sanctions elite tournaments for its members. Membership makes players eligible to apply for and compete in TARC events and gives you access to a range of services performed by the TARC to add value to your experiences and your standing for AJGA and College golf.

 

Conditions of Eligibility

  1. All players must be a member of the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), and hold an active Junior or Junior Plus membership.
  2. All players must hold an active TARC Tour Card.
  3. Participation in TARC events is reserved for amateur golfers.
  4. The minimum age requirement is 12 years old.
  5. Juniors will not reach their 18th birthday before June 15th, 2017, AND have not graduated high school as of January 1, 2017 are eligible.
  6. Once a player starts college, they are no longer eligible, regardless of age.

Tournament Entry Criteria

The Junior Golf Tour of Asia is the only junior tour outside of the AJGA that determines fields with AJGA PBE Status. Players with the highest number of AJGA PBE Status at the time of application will be given the first priority.

Category V: Previous Season’s Junior Order of Merit Ranking
Category VI: Graduation Year (Priority to Seniors)
Category VII: Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranking
Category VIII: Local Players
Category IX: Random Draw

The TARC is the official sanctioning body of junior golf tournaments in Asia that offer AJGA PBE Status. The TARC allows for regional players to build their AJGA PBE Status in the off-season, and emphasizes local participation in each country that a TARC tournament is held.
